As a member of the Sumitomo Corporation Group, we aim to be a company where all employees work in a lively, exciting and healthy manner and take on the challenge of creating new value.
In order for each employee to perform at their best and continue to provide the added value that is unique to our company, physical and mental health is more important than anything else.
At our company, top management is the person in charge of promoting health and productivity management, and the Human Resources Department acts as the promotion secretariat, advancing company-wide efforts.

In addition, our company has been certified as a “Health and Productivity Management Excellent Corporation (Large Corporation Category)” by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry for the second consecutive year (2022-2023) as a corporation that practices excellent health and productivity management.
We will continue to consider and implement measures to promote the mental and physical health of our employees.

Health Management Promotion Structure

Under the leadership of our President, who is the person ultimately responsible for health management at our company, the Human Resources Department is taking the lead in promoting health management in cooperation with worker representatives, industrial physicians, and the health insurance association in order to maintain and improve the health of employees.

Subsidies for Costs of Health Checkups and Complete Physical Examination

We provide regular health checkups, health checkups when joining the company, health checkups before going on overseas assignments, and health checkups when returning to Japan. In addition, employees aged 35 or older are required to undergo medical checkups at a medical institution of their own choosing, and the costs can be subsidized by the health insurance association. The attendance rate for regular health checkups (including medical checkups) is 100%.
In addition, the company covers the costs of some of the tests specified by the company and the costs of re-examinations recommended by an industrial physician.
The health insurance association also provides specific health guidance in an effort to prevent and detect illness early among employees.
